Solar Power Plant Badia

The construction of the power plant was completed during 2011 by Würth Solar under the development and realization supervision of Bel Energy and became operational in October of that year. Since the beginning of energy production Badia PV plant has produced over 11% above the original expectation. The total surface area of this project is about 13,000 m² (fenced area). The PV plant design is based on the poly crystalline module type Yingli Solar YL235P 29b with 235 W peak power per module. In order to achieve best energy efficiency, inverters from Emerson Control Techniques GmbH will be used.

The photovoltaic system produces around 0.83 million kilowatt hours per year and reduces CO2 emissions by approximately 735 tons per year.
